Airbnb in Cairo

For a client looking to invest in real estate in downtown Cairo and flip apartments into short-term rentals, we built an Airtable base to collect all of the information about Airbnbs in the area. Since Airbnb does not provide an API, we used crawlers to visit the website, collect the information, bring it into Make.com for automation and processing, and then store all of the data across the different tables in the Airtable base.

The Airtable base automatically tracks the most relevant listings that are in the same area, offer similar services at a comparable price point. You can track how much each listing is charging, which ones have been booked, and approximately how much revenue they’re generating.

It also become clear what pricing point to target, and which amenities are worth investing in.
